Probing dark matter with polarimetry techniques

In this work, we propose polarimetry experiments to search for low-mass (sub-eV) bosonic field dark matter, including axions and axionlike particles. We show that a configuration consisting of thick birefringent solid inside Fabry-P\'erot cavity is exceptionally sensitive scalar which may cause oscillatory variations in the solid's thickness refractive index. addition, reconfiguration experiment, two quarter-wave plates are placed instead solid, very investigate possibility using cross-correlation twin polarimeters increase sensitivity turn could allow us explore unexplored parts parameter space potentially detect signal either matter scenario.
